Terms & Conditions
- Missed Bookings: In the event of a booked course being missed, no refunds or cancellation procedures apply.
- Payment Terms: Full payment must be received prior to course. If full payment has not been received the booking is not confirmed and NI Kitesurfing reserves the right to cancel the unconfirmed booking.
- Course Expiry: All courses and vouchers are valid from six months from the date of purchase. Courses must also be completed within six months of the date of purchase. Courses are not transferable and refunds will not be offered for client cancellations.
- Weather Conditions: Kitesurfing is weather (wind & tide) dependent. NI Kitesurfing reserves the right to re-schedule the course due to unsuitable conditions.
- Client Cancellations: We do not offer full refunds for client cancellations. We do however offer alternative dates to complete your course.
- NI Kitesurfing Cancellations:
- Dangerous (Inappropriate) Behaviour: NI Kitesurfing reserve the right to cease courses with any client(s) behaving in a dangerous manner that may be damaging to 3rd parties, themselves, equipment and / or property. This behaviour will result in cancellation of the course and future courses with no refund(s) being offered.
- Unsuitable Weather: Instructors have the final decision for cancelling courses due to unsuitable conditions. Students will be rebooked at a mutually convenient time.
- Abandoned Course: In the event of a course being abandoned you will be offered the remaining time on a future course.
- Customer Eligibility: You must be able to swim and be over the age of 18.
- Course Location(s): Course location and times will be notified to the student prior to the course and confirmed prior to the course.
- Transport to Kitesurf Location(s): NI Kitesurfing aims to teach at beaches in County Down which support the prevailing winds. It is the responsibility of the student to make their own way to the course location.
- Insurance: NI Kitesurfing are fully insured and covered for the following:
- Public Liability
- Third Party Liability
- Professional Indemnity
- Libel and Slander
- Branding and Intellectual Property Terms: Reproduction of the NI Kitesurfing Logo and Website content in part or whole without prior written permission is prohibited.
- Legal Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and in accordance with Northern Ireland law. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.
- Risk, Personal Injury or Death: Power kiting and kitesurfing are potentially dangerous and are undertaken entirely at the student’s own risk. Students should be aware of these risks and accept they are responsible for their own actions and involvement. NI Kitesurfing takes all reasonable steps to limit these risks as far as possible.
- Kitesurf Equipment: We will supply all equipment required for the activities as booked.
- Wetsuits: We can provide them for average sizes.
- Instructors: NI Kitesurfing will provide tuition with appropriately qualified instructors for courses booked.
- Student Waiver: Clients must complete a registration form on arrival for their course. Clients must also read and sign the student waiver form attached to the registration forms on arrival.
- Equipment Returns: If you decide to return any Product you must not use it and must take good care of it while it remains in your possession. The Product must be returned to us undamaged, unsoiled, unwashed, unaltered or not worn (other than to try the Product(s) on and in the same state that it was sold to you. Please note that where possible, any labels or tags must remain intact and the product(s) should be returned in or with its original packaging. You must also notify us within 7 days of purchase your intention to return, and goods must be received within 14 days of purchase. Return postage costs are liable to the customer only.
